This bar of wax has been specifically manufactured to suit the type of wax cotton we use from halley Stevenson. Perfect to re-invigorate your Field Rug’s waterfproofability after a few years use.

We reccomend re-proofing the wax cotton on your field rug once a year to keep the cloth working efficiently and to keep your field rug in good order.

Bar is 75g with instructions for use printed on the box itself.

There is a chance some of the newly waxed cloth can effect clothes when you sit on them for the first use or so, so be careful with this. Any questions please ask.

This as an amazing print of Ordnance Survey Contour mapping of the famous River Dart Gorge on Dartmoor. A beautiful section of river and moorland that almost looks as good here as it does on the ground!

Yes it may get dented or scratched but in those marks record our adventures.

We have since noticed that although we were keen to make this the finest water carrier we can, there was a slipup on the printing of the Latitude and Longitude coordinates on the rear. See if you can spot what it is? Nothing to effect the quality of the bottle, only a slight pink face for Charlie who as a Chartered Land Surveyor and volunteer for Mountain Rescue should know better when transposing coordinates!

We have been searching hard for a good set of utensils to use when your out on our adventures. This Bamboo set is really nice to use. Not flimsy, not too smaller heads, just about right. Lightweight and easily packable.

They also have a small cork cover to stuff them into after use and rinse out when you get home. This can be a little fiddly to get on but it still does the job.

This is a small leather backed strop which is used for keeping your knives sharp. Made in very limited numbers. Designed for Spoon Carvers and wood workers but also useful for opinel picnic knives.

The other side can be used to attach a strip of fine sandpaper too for the first stage of sharpening your knives or axes. I will include a small strip already attached. They are avrious sizes and may differ slightly from those shown. They are approx 25-30cm long and from 5cm wide.

You can use a small amount of honing paste or metal polish into the leather, then draw you knife blade across to polish and hone your blades. This should be done regularly to keep your knife sharp.

This Devon Oak Bark Belt leather is timeless in its quality. This workshop is by appointment only and will be a morning or afternoon session with us in our workshop. You will learn some basic leather techniques to craft your own leather belt. We can also personalise your belt with some stamping or simple carving.

Once ordered please state a preference as to which month you’d like to attend, we can then confirm dates with other appointments. There will generally be 2-3 people on the course.
