There will also be some smaller more regular Spoon carving workshops for those keen to progress their skills and craft coming soon.
There is something extremely special about heading into the wilds of Dartmoor for a night. Join me on an adventure into those wild moors, camping in a remote area.
Single/Double expedition tents are available to borrow. You will need to provide some of you own equipment and be physically fit enough to walk with your own loaded rucksack for the night.

Spoon carving course at our Workshed in Dartmoor National Park. Learn how to use an axe and knives to carve a spoon from a log or branch wood.
A day’s course with three sessions and lunch provided. All abilities welcome and no tools necessary. However please let me know your ability and if you have any of your own tools.

Join the Moorswood family on an adventure into the wild moors of Dartmoor for the day and celebrate Ordnance Survey’s Get Outside Sunday.
We will choose a circular route from a chosen car park around Venford Reservoir on Dartmoor.
You will need to provide all of you own hill kit, waterproofs, boots and lunch. We may provide a little bit of cake and lots of encouragement.
