How to roll your Ramblers Roll

If you need a little reminder on how to roll up your Ramblers Rolls I recorded this basic iphone clip after a wild swim in the river not long ago. I'm afraid the quality isn't that great but this certainly gives you the idea or have a look at the photos and descriptions below.

Start with your Ramblers Roll, tweed facing out and strap down your right hand leg.

Fold almost in half, leave it about an inch short to allow for folding. It is easiest to do this against your body.

So folding nearly in half, the top fold should be a little bit shorter than the bottom. Then using the crease lines fold once, twice.

The top of the roll should roughly line up with the bottom, if not roll again with a slightly larger or smaller gap.

Once rolled, bring your hands together folding the whole roll in half with the center pointing towards the sky.

With the two rolled ends brought together, take the strap from the center and wrap around the outside of the whole roll.

The strap will fit around the outside of the roll and come back to close on the press stud fastener.

Rollers Note!:

If your Rambler is very wet and/or muddy you can roll it the other way around, this will keep your bag and you, dryer. Hold the wet side away from you with the strap on the left. Then roll the same way as above. Always remember to brush clean, air dry if damp and store responsibly.
