Dartmoor Walk - New dates soon
Join the Moorswood family on an adventure into the wild moors of Dartmoor for the day and celebrate Ordnance Survey’s Get Outside Sunday.
We will choose a circular route from a chosen car park around Venford Reservoir on Dartmoor.
You will need to provide all of you own hill kit, waterproofs, boots and lunch. We may provide a little bit of cake and lots of encouragement.

Away from all of our built up environment, roads, railways, houses, telegraph poles… leave it all behind and find some space amongst the moors of Dartmoor. This will be a walk of anything between 6 - 12km depending on the capability of the group and the weather on the day.
We will be aiming to meet at approx 10am out until maybe 3-4pm (These times may vary according to weather conditions). Please bring your own sensible walking boots, waterproofs, warm appropriate clothing, your own food and water for the day. We are not providing transport to the location I’m afraid.
